Uterine & Ovarian Health Center

Several conditions affect the uterus or ovaries. Endometriosis involves abnormal growth of uterine tissue. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a hormone disorder that can cause ovarian cysts. Pelvic inflammatory disease is often associated with STD infection. Treatments include drugs or surgery such as hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) and oophorectomy (removal of the ovaries).
